Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal data Oluwalo collects and how it is used.
What we collect
- Your email address, to sign you in and send your sign-in links.
- Your full name and, if you choose, your clan (ekika), to print on certificates.
- Your contributions: amount, sector, date and payment status. Payment details (card numbers, mobile money PINs) are handled by the payment provider, not by us.
How it is used
- To issue and store your certificates and show your contribution history.
- On the public verification page we show your name (unless you turn this off on your profile), the sector, date and clan. We never show the amount you gave or your email.
- Contributions reports show totals per sector only, never individual contributors.
Sharing and retention
Your data is shared only with the service providers needed to run Oluwalo (payment provider, hosting, email delivery and error monitoring). Payment records are kept for financial audit purposes. You may ask the Kingdom's Oluwalo office for a copy of your data or for it to be corrected, in line with Uganda's Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019.
