Terms and conditions

Oluwalo is an online service for making voluntary contributions to the Buganda Kingdom. By creating an account or making a contribution you agree to these terms.

Contributions

Contributions are voluntary gifts to the Kingdom and are made in Uganda shillings (UGX).
You choose the sector your contribution supports. The Kingdom applies contributions to that sector and reports usage each year on the public contributions report.
Payments are processed by our payment provider. We never see or store your card or mobile money PIN.
A contribution counts as made only once the payment provider confirms it. Your certificate is issued at that point.

Certificates

Certificates are issued in your name as entered on your profile, and can be verified publicly by anyone with the certificate ID or QR code.
Certificates may not be altered. A certificate obtained through fraud will be revoked.

Your account

You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email. Keep access to your email secure; anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
